Reading Superstars (Ages 5-9)

Week 1: Wednesday 15th – Thursday 16th January
Week 2: Monday 20th – Wednesday 22nd January 
9:30 – 11:00 am

This course is specifically designed to provide children with the skills and tools to assist them on their journey towards becoming successful readers. Children will build their knowledge and understanding of sounds and how to apply them when reading. They will also learn strategies to build their comprehension and understanding of what they are reading.

Children will participate in;
* 1:1 Reading
* Story listening
* Vocabulary building
* Comprehension activities
* Word and craft activities

With 1:1 reading, each child will receive direct individual reading instruction, reading levelling, and reading strategies in each session.
