Margaret brings boundless enthusiasm and passion when working with her clients at The Hills Learning Centre. After raising her two children to adulthood, she decided to embark on a new direction to coincide with her passion for working with children, teenagers, and young adults. She returned to studies and completed qualifications in learning support. Her role, previous to joining the team at The Hills Learning Centre, was as a member of the Diverse Learning Team in a school setting which has provided her with the experience and skills to enable her to work with the diverse needs of her students. Margaret has worked in both primary and secondary education, assisting students with varied levels of learning difficulties, while along the way undertaking many workshops and courses focused on the implementation of varied strategies to address needs.

Margaret has spent the last ten years focusing on further developing her skills and interacting with students. Alongside her studies, she also took up a volunteer role as a Youth Mentor at high schools, working with teenage girls to give back to the community and empower them to overcome obstacles. She tutored primary age students in Public Speaking & Debating – an area that she is extremely passionate about.

On a personal note, Margaret has two children, a daughter and son, both in their 20’s. Her baby is a handsome 4-year-old border collie who provides much affection and joy. She enjoys keeping active, holidaying, staying connected to family and friends and trying new things.
