Learning Clinician

 

Lisa is originally from Singapore, where her passion for education began. She ran Outward Bound camps in Singapore  and spent time tutoring and teaching. Lisa first moved to Sydney in 1987, studying a Bachelor of Science at The University of Sydney in the areas of Biochemistry and Microbiology. She returned to Singapore in 1996 where she received her Post Graduate Diploma of Education and Diploma of Applied Linguistics. In 2014, Lisa returned to Sydney and never looked back.

 

Throughout her career, Lisa has taught Years 1-3 in all subjects except Music and has also taught science to Years 5-6 in Singapore for 10 years.

 

Lisa’s education philosophy is that every child is unique and deserves a caring, inspiring, and engaging atmosphere in which to grow emotionally, intellectually and socially. She wants her students to develop positive character and leadership traits which are essential in becoming productive individuals.
