Welcome to The Hills Learning Centre, where we specialise in providing capacity building and skill development for children with disabilities and diverse needs. We take a positive and personalised approach to intervention, recognising that every child is unique and has their own individual needs.

Our team is dedicated to providing full diagnostic assessments, advice, and support to help children with a range of conditions, including ADHD, ODD, Global Delay and ASD as well as specific learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia. As a registered NDIS provider, we offer 1:1 intervention in both physical and online settings, as well as group workshops aimed at developing life skills, social skills, and functional skills.

At The Hills Learning Centre, we believe that children thrive in a positive environment. Our approach is to use positive reinforcement, providing verbal praise and encouragement to help children build on their own personal best every session. We know that no two children are the same, so we offer a personalised approach, catering to each child's unique needs.

We also recognise that parenting can be challenging, especially for parents raising children with learning, behavioural, or developmental needs. That's why we offer support to parents, with regular contact with our consultants and staff. We also provide a school advocacy service to help parents ensure that their child's needs are met within their formal educational settings.

Our Leap Ahead preschool course is designed to make the transition into kindergarten a smooth and positive experience for all children regardless of their needs. We use the National Guidelines for Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention to provide a framework for excellence in service delivery, giving children the fundamental skills they need to learn, work, and play well.

For young adults aged 16-25, our My Place program offers training in important life skills, including everyday living, social skills, and vocational skills. This helps them to achieve independence and make a successful transition into adulthood.
